Her daughter Pepper grew up in Slidell where she settled and raised her four children. Together they co-authored Some Memories Don't Fade followed by Beyond the Lens. Pepper has remarried and she and her husband, David, are the proud parents of six children. Betty has retired from writing, but Pepper is working on her third novel, a romantic drama.
